There are no ways to edit canonical tags or urls in Shopify and that's where this app comes into play. Canonical Tag/URL Manager makes it possible to edit canonical tags for any of your products, pages, articles and collections. This is beneficial to your store if you want to point search engines to a different version of a page for example, if you have multiple versions of the same product but you want one to get all the juice then modify its canonical url to let search engines know. All charges are billed in USD. Recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days. This app was exactly what we needed for our multi-lingual Shopify store. We required canonical tags for our refill products to point back to the main product pages, and this app made the setup straightforward and easy to implement. We initially encountered some difficulty getting the canonical tags to push through properly, but after reaching out via email, the developer responded within hours ... Brilliant solution for managing canonical URLs on Shopify. We were able to override Shopify’s defaults and set custom canonicals for products, collections, and pages.
